Today was day three of spring break week and I thought it would be fun to go to the Dallas Arboretum. I just got a new camera and wanted to take pics of the kids, plus the weather has been so gorgeous this week and it would be a lovely way to enjoy it. Umm, going to the arboretum is a good idea in theory only. By the time you have packed up the car, the kids, and made the drive…you are SO over it. I know this…so why every year do I think it will get better??? I somehow talked my family into going so my mom, sisters, nephew, and both the girls all made the trek together. There were a ZILLION people there (yes, a zillion..truly) and the older kids were not interested in having me take their pictures. Not a surprise. Despite the ooch, it was worth it all for me to get these shots of baby Ally.
Oh, and the flowers were pretty too. : )

Ashley and her mom were a blast to work with on this combo senior/mother-daughter shoot. Not only were they fun, gorgeous, and completely at ease in front of the camera, but they had professionally done hair and makeup and brought some amazing clothing choices. It felt like a fashion shoot! So, so fun!! Here are just a few of the images…..isn’t she stunning?

Wow! I literally teared up looking at these…both gals are breathtakingly beautiful and I must say, made me think ahead to Ellie being this age. Gorgeous photos!

So good looking and stylish!
Last week I got to do a shoot with this GORGEOUS 6 week old baby girl. She looks like a baby doll and was so expressive. I loved the way she stared at the camera with such wonder. Made for some fun shots. This little blue dress was my favorite and I thought it went so beautifully with her strawberry blonde hair and deep blue eyes…as well as my new fav chair. : )
and…..here she is NOT in the blue chair..which kind of ruins my theme of this post, but had to share these because she just looks so sweet!

This sweet boy is such a tiny little thing! Born three weeks early, he gave his mom such fits when she was pregnant with him that I was threatening to give his little bottom a spank once he was born. Of course, once I met him, my first response was a cuddle and then a photo shoot. He is absolutely precious and was a perfect angel for his session.
