This Style Guide saved my photography career! Even though I am a fairly new photographer, I was lacking ‘inspiration’ due to the fact that my sessions were not finished product of what I had envisioned. I felt like I was always communicating enough about ‘what to wear’ and ‘what to expect’ and the client would still show up in something totally different than what we dicussed. Therefore, affecting the overall ‘style’ that I wanted to achieve. You know, the outcome of each session represents you as an artist!
I put your words of wisdom to good use, followed the steps, and guess what?! My first ‘stylized’ session was a smashing success! It went soooo smoothly. And– get this! This session is by far the best work I have ever done! Why? Because by planning the session detail by detail, the client was on the same level as I was the day of her shoot and the chemistry was amazing between us. This style guide has pushed me to think outside the box!
I can not thank you enough!
PS- you also inspired me to put my cosmotology education to good use
